New standards require that students read more complex texts. Gauge your students’ understanding and help them become more critical thinkers, readers, and writers with our highlighting and tagging tools.
The ‘Highlight’ tool in Subtext lets your students mark and organize important passages using colors and tags. Highlights and tags can help students keep track of important excerpts, themes, or concepts as they read.
Students can create their highlights simply by selecting text in any book or doc, then tapping the “Highlight” icon in the annotation menu, where they can select a color.
Finally, students can add a personalized tag by tapping the “Edit” button and then “Add tag”.
Highlights and tags are also integrated with Assignments (premium feature), so it’s easy to push assigned tags out to students automatically as they read.
